"Kristen has given us and Stan better service than we could ever have expected. She walks Stan and plays with him every day. In the 14 months we have used her, she has never once missed an appointment. The one time she was going out of town, she notified us 2 weeks in advance so we could make other arrangements. Although she normally comes at set times, she has also shown great flexibility and taken care of Stan at unexpected times on very short notice. Her reliability and commitment has given us peace of mind, but her knowledge, genuine interest, and love of dogs is what really differentiates her. Before we hired her, we had a terrible time housebreaking Stan. She gave us a few suggestions and worked with Stan (at no additional charge) and he was completely housebroken in 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks, when Kristen was forced to deal with some ugly messes (Stan not only pooped in the kitchen, but liked to finger paint) she never complained and always put us at ease with her sense of humor and optimism. A few months later, Stan was diagnosed with a rare illness that required him to eat several small meals of wet food being made to stand on his hind legs. Kristen not only accommodated this unusual regimen, but recommended resources to learn more about the disease. Through the whole thing, it was clear that she really cared about Stan. Stan has outgrown his illness now, but to this day we talk about how we could not have gotten through that ordeal without Kristen’s help. Any time Stan seems at all out of the ordinary, she calls immediately and gives us an assessment of the situation. She has taken him to the vet for us more than once. Stan was definitely not an easy dog to take care of, but all we ever heard from Kristen was how much she loved him and how much fun they had together." ~ Ben and Robyn Dollar
